Mentoring - Guidance through relationship

Mentoring has been described as relational guidance. Having a mentor can be of great benefit as you start your own business, someone who has been through similar experineces and faced the same challenges.  Essentially the mentoriing process sees that we are all on a journey, from where we are now to a goal in the future. Mentors are questioners. They ask questions about you and your business that  help you reflect on where you are going and the route you are taking.

Business is about relationships. Relationships between managers and workers, relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. Your own character will affect the way you approach those relationships.and the way you behave as a business owner or leader. it is in this area that the Mentor works. Lookng at your values, relationships and behaviour. There is no "one size fits all" you are unique, your business is unique. A mentor helps you to consider your character, your management style, and how this affects the way your business operates.

A mentor is not there to tell you how to run your business but rather is someone who can assist your on your jouney of business start-up and ongoing development.

If you feel that a mentoring relationship would benefit you and your business contact us now for an informal discussion.
